C.J. Prosise is a running back for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

 

Prosise was raised in Petersburg, VA and attended Woodberry Forest School. Prosise earned First-Team Virginia All-State honors in both 2010 and 2011. Prosise committed to Notre Dame in May of 2011.

 

A versatile collegiate player, Prosise took over lead back duties for Notre Dame in 2015, and capitalized immediately – his first start saw him rush for 155 yards with a touchdown. Prosise finished the season with 1,032 yards on 156 carries, with 28 receptions for 308 yards.

 

On April 29, 2016, Prosise was drafted with the 90th overall pick by the Seattle Seahawks. In just his sixth professional game, Prosise tallied 153 total yards in an upset win over the Patriots.

 

In January 2016, Prosise signed with Roc Nation Sports ahead of the 2016 NFL Draft.
